VALKYRIE have broken numerous records throughout their career. Billboard has ranked their 2022 release CHECKMATE as one of the bestselling singles of the streaming era with over 11,300,350 equivalent sales. Their debut single was the first Korean girl group song to be recognized by American award shows for its impact. VALKYRIE was also the first female Korean act to receive a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with their single ENDLESS.
They are the first and only girl group, and Korean act to enter in the chart at #1 consecutively. VALKYRIE is the highest charting female Korean act on the Billboard Hot 100, with six #1 debuts on the chart. YUNA, and CHAERYEONG remain the only active idols signed to the company from the group. In July of 2025, the group confirmed they will disband. The group debuted in March of 2018 with their single START, their first Top 10 entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, and their first Melon #1, alongside Bugz, and various other South Korean charting platforms.
